Encore dans le Nord!Une belle Historie au Bord de la mer. Un petit peu atmospherique comme des mots Baudelaire!
Est ce que je vais rester un weekend à Cracovie prochainement ?Je ne sais pas.
Pour ce premier weekend de Décembre, je suis partie avec une copine Danoise à Gdansk. Si vous arrivez à prononcer ce nom parfaitement du premier coup, félicitations ! C’est la plus grande ville portuaire de Pologne mais elle est principalement connue pour le mouvement Solidarność et son leader Lech Wałęsa de 1980. Elle est aussi considérée comme une des trois plus jolies villes de Pologne avec Wroclaw et Cracovie. En plus de ça, je voulais dire quelque chose d’important: Je suis allée au bord de la mer. Qu’est ce qui peut faire le plus plaisir à une fille du Sud de la France ?Le bruit de la mer et les mouettes. Voilà. Marvellous Macke
Oldie but goldie and I won’t miss it! This is one of my favourite artbooks and it’s in my bookcase since several years. “August Macke. Gemälde, Aquarelle, Zeichnungen.“ is a catalog with all his paintings, watercolors and drawings. I was looking out for so many years to get this book. (It’s out of print! And you only get it in well-sorted second hand bookshops. My edition was a present by a lovely person and a colleague in Münster). Well, I have to be honest – I have never read this book! 😀 I visited a lot of August Macke exhibitions, so I don’t want to read his biography for the umpteenth time. Ok, there are a lot of more articles inside, but I’m not interested in them. I love his paintings. That’s enough for me. My favourite one is “Türkisches Café I” or “Türkisches Café II” (both are great). Years…

Venice-an ideal place for sketching and photography.
Unser zweiter Tag in Venedig begann stürmisch mit Nieselregen, was uns nicht daran hinderte von unserer Unterkunft, einem ehemaligen Nonnenkonvent, zur Santa Maria dela Salute zu laufen.

So spektakulär die Lage dieser Kirche ist, so unspektakulär habe ich das Innere der Kirche empfunden. Es war jedoch sofort ersichtlich, dass diese Kirche von Gläubigen rege besucht wird. Benutzt, ist hier nicht das richtige Wort, Gegenstände werden benutzt und es ist ein Unterschied, ob der Betrachter auf einen benutzen oder unbenutzen Gegenstand schaut. Schon die Atmosphäre ist eine andere.
Micha lässt sich immer sehr viel Zeit für seine Fotos, in der Zeit, wo er einen Augenblick in der richtigen Belichtung und im richtigen Ausschnitt fokusiert, entstehen in meinem Skizzenbuch viele Zeichnungen, die viele Augenblicke einfangen.

An interesting and innovative approach.
I have just realised that I noticed this remarkable building in July and took a photograph. A busy and colourful area with lots of bookshops -leider nebenbei mein Handy war geklaut!!
Warenhaus am Weinberg, or Kaufhaus Jandorf in Brunnenstraße as it is known today, was the third out of six department stores opened in Berlin by Abraham Adolf Jandorf (the last one being the now world-famous Berlin´s KaDeWe, or Kaufhaus des Westens).

It architects, Lachmann & Zauber, inspired by Alfred Messel´s designs for the Wertheims of the Warenhaus Wertheim chain, provided the building with a steel-frame grid – a step which made it both stable and modern. The steel skeleton frame it was built on and around – walls, floors and the roof of such buildings are, to put it simply, attached to the grid – was an invention which paved the way towards the construction of famous American skyscrapers. It also made those buildings particularly resistant: no wonder that most of the steel-frame buildings in Berlin survived WWII almost intact.

Nice collage of photos as well as sketches
Vom Flugplatz Venedig Marco Polo ist es einfach und Preiswert (7 €) mit den öffentlichen venizianischen Verkehrsbetrieben zum Piazzale Roma zu fahren. Die meisten Venedig Besucher steigen dann in ein Vaporetto und fahren den Canal Grande herunter.

Dieses Erlebnis wollten wir uns für später ohne Rucksack und erholt aufheben. Wir sind lieber quer die Schleife des Canal Grande schneidend die kleinen Kanäle zu unserer Unterkunft gelaufen. Ich mag diese erste Stunde an einem neuen Ort. Sie sind die aufregensten. Jede Kleinigkeit, die nach einem längeren Aufenthalt selbstverständlich wird, ist festhaltenswert.
Die Zeichnungen entstehen schnell und flüchtig, ich möchte mir nicht die Zeit nehmen, länger an einer Stelle zu stehen, es regnet immer heftiger und der Rucksack wird immer schwerer.
